Warranty & Returns

At Smartfish, our priority is to ensure a quality experience with your product. Products purchased directly from Smartfish Technologies can be returned under one of the following conditions:
1. Return within one year of the date of original purchase for a defect (with proof of purchase)
2. Return within 30 days of the date of original purchase for any reason, as long as product is in good condition (with proof of purchase)

30 DAY RETURN
We understand that you may want to return an item that is not suitable for you. If you are not satisfied with your product, you are entitled to a refund as long as the product is in the original packaging with all original materials and components and proof of purchase. Product and materials must be in new or as-good-as-new condition to be eligible. Smartfish reserves the right to refuse any product returned under the 30-day policy that does not meet these criteria. Please follow the steps below for a proper return and refund.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR 30 DAY RETURN
1. Request for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
To obtain an RMA, you must call Smartfish Customer Support within 30 days from the date of original purchase. Please call Customer Support directly at 888.567.7627 x0 and a representative will assist you.

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
1. Only one RMA # will be issued per return.
2. RMA #s will be valid until the end of your 30 day return period (defined above).
3. RMA #s must be valid, unexpired, and issued for the product being returned.

2. Original Packaging, Documentation & Accessories
All products must be returned in the original packaging with all original contents included (i.e. manuals, wires, plastic bags, box, batteries, dongles, etc.). These items must in new or as-new condition to be accepted. Failure to include original items will null the return and product will be shipped back to you at your own expense.

3. Shipping Product Back to Smartfish
Once you receive your RMA number and have collected all packaging and product components, please pack the product safely and securely to ensure the product arrives intact. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange shipment pickup, prepay shipping, pay any duty charges and insure the package or accept the risk if the product is lost or damaged during shipment. We advise that you ship the product back to us via UPS, FedEx or USPS to ensure proper delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to retain shipping invoice and tracking number in the event of a lost shipment.

4. Receiving Your Refund
Once your shipment is received and verified that it meets all above conditions, please allow up to 14 days from the date of receipt for the credit to appear on your account. Credit will be issued to the payment method or credit card used from your original purchase only. Smartfish will not refund original or return shipping costs.

WARRANTY RETURN
In the event there is a problem with your product that we cannot fix, you may be entitled to a replacement product under Smartfish’s Limited Warranty Terms. Replacement products may include refurbished products that have been re-certified to product specifications.

SMARTFISH 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Smartfish Technologies warrants to the original purchaser that Smartfish products are free from material and workmanship defects when used under normal conditions for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Should the product contain defects in material or workmanship, Smartfish Technologies will repair or replace the product at our option, free of charge. Purchaser will be responsible for all costs associated with packaging and shipping the product to Smartfish Technologies Consumer Support Department at the address noted below and all other freight or insurance costs associated with the return. Smartfish Technologies will bear the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced product to the purchaser. Product should be returned in its original package accompanied by a proof of purchase, either a sales receipt or other proof that the product is within the warranty period. This warranty is void if the owner repairs or modifies the product or ifthe product has been damaged as a result of misuse. This warranty excludes any liability other than that expressly stated previously, including but not limited to, any incidental or inconsequential damages.

Products cannot be altered or tampered with in any way or this will void the warranty. Smartfish reserves the right to refuse any returns we feel have been tampered with. Accessories are important to include so we can properly evaluate any issues with the product. Failure to include original items will null the return and product will be shipped back to you at your own expense.

4. Product Replacement
Upon verification, your replacement unit will be shipped back to you free of charge.
