I spend most of my free time on the computer. However, for some reason I have never really gotten used to using my laptops touchpad. Thats why whether Im blogging, researching, or doing a little online shopping my mouse and I are pretty much inseparable. The only problem is that if I dont take constant breaks, my wrists and arm start to feel the stress.
I was recently introduced to a brand new product call ErgoMotion Laser Mouse ($49.95) and thought, Why not give it a try?
Set-up was as easy as can be . . . no software to download, no disc to keep track of, no registration. I just inserted the (2) AA batteries (included), plugged in the tiny transceiver into my USB drive, turned the mouse on, and I was all set. My mouse immediately started working.
The hardest part was getting used to the feel of the new mouse in my hand. Im a creature of habit and its hard for me to adjust to something new. In fact, if I closed my eyes and you put 5 different wireless mice in front of me I can guarantee you Ill find my mouse. So using a brand new mouse that moves in a totally different way was a little hard in the beginning and I couldnt be as productive as I usually am. However, after a couple of days I was loving it!
Ive been using the ErgoMotion Laser Mouse for a couple of weeks now and I havent had any pain or stress in my wrist or arms. Ive also gotten used to the feel of this new mouse and Im flying across the screen now! Plus, the transceiver is so small that I can leave it in my USB port even when I pack the laptop to go.
Its a great addition to anyone whos on the computer for an extended period of time. Your wrists and arms will thank you!"
